I installed Visual Studio 2005 and can't debug! I get this error message: "Unable to attach to application "WebDev. WebServer.EXE" (PID: 972) using "name of my computer" The debuger is not properly installed. Cannot debug the requested type of code. Run setup to install or repair the debugger."
Also I can't see server controls in toolbox, only html.. What has gone wrong?
I'd say, run setup to install or repair the debugger. (Don't ask where I got that suggestion.) Lighting incense and playing Roxy Music's Avalon CD during the install also helps.
But seriously, it sounds like the computer had a hissy fit during the install. No big deal. Watch carefully for any error messages that might pop up during the reinstall. If it doesn't work the second time, post back.
