Visual SouceSafe 2005 - Is it compatible with 6.0d?

Hello,
Is SourceSafe 2005 compatible with v6.0d? Can I use a 2005 client to log
into a 6.0d repository?
Thanks

As previously mentioned, can't say "works great with VS6"... The DBs seem to
be compatible but the integration is flakey. Looks like I'm going to have to
get rid of SS05 and revert back to V6. VS'05's just in "eval" mode here. We
make our money with VS6 so >that must work< :-)

In my experience, it’s OK.
